About Sprocket Science
An owner-operated, appointment-only Chilliwack workshop built around careful diagnostics, straight answers and work you approve.

Owner-operated in Chilliwack
I kept seeing the same frustrating situation: someone bought an e-bike or scooter online because it fit their needs and budget, but when it needed service, the seller was far away and local support was difficult to find. They were left with an expensive machine, conflicting advice, and no clear idea of what was actually wrong.
I started Sprocket Science because choosing a direct-to-consumer, hub-drive, throttle-equipped, or less familiar brand should not mean you are on your own after the sale. This shop exists to listen first, inspect carefully, and replace uncertainty with evidence and a practical next step.
When you contact the shop, you speak directly with me—the person who assesses the machine, explains the findings, and completes the approved work. I want every customer to leave feeling heard, informed, and confident about what happens next, whether the honest answer is a repair, a referral, or that a repair would not make sense.
“You bought it to ride it—not to be left on your own when something goes wrong.”
Training and credentials
Current technician credentials support the electrical-mobility work. Careful testing, clear communication, and honest boundaries still earn the trust.

Certified E-Bike Technician training through the Canadian Electric Bicycle Association.

Sprocket Science maintains membership in the Canadian Electric Bicycle Association.
Credentials belong to the technician and describe training or membership. They do not imply factory authorization from every manufacturer or certify an individual customer machine.
The process
You know what was found, what the options are and what happens next.
Share the machine, symptoms, warning codes, and what changed.
We review serviceability and inspect or test what is needed to find the next step.
We explain the options clearly. Repair work begins only after you approve it.
Operating principles
Treat the rider, the machine and every repair decision with care.
Stay curious and keep learning across mechanical and electrical systems.
Explain the evidence, the limits and the estimate in plain language.
Use the right tools and useful records—not technology for show.
Do what was approved, keep you informed and follow through.
Independent / Multi-brand
Serviceability depends on documentation, parts, proprietary tools, machine condition, and safety. No manufacturer authorization is implied.
