Independent diagnostics-first service

Stopping performance is a system.

E-bikes add speed, weight, wiring, and sometimes motor-cutoff sensors to ordinary brake wear. Sprocket Science checks lever feel, pads, rotors, cables or fluid, mounting, wheel alignment, and the electrical cutoff where equipped.

Starting price$30 per brake · $55 per pair adjustmentParts and additional approved work are extra.

Common reasons riders contact us

Start with what the machine is doing.

You do not need to name the failed part. Symptoms, timing, error codes, and photos are more useful starting points.

  • Lever pulls to the grip
  • Brake squeals, rubs, or pulses
  • Stopping distance has increased
  • Pads or rotor look worn
  • Hydraulic lever feels soft
  • Motor does not run because a brake cutoff stays active

Clear boundaries

  • Pads, rotors, cables, housing, fluid, hoses, and replacement components are extra.
  • Contaminated, leaking, damaged, proprietary, or incorrectly modified systems may require more work than an adjustment.
  • Structural frame, fork, wheel, or mount damage may make the machine unsafe to service or ride.
