This notice explains how Sprocket Science handles general enquiries, secure service requests, and related service records.
Information we collect
When you submit a general enquiry on this website, we collect the information you choose to provide, such as your name, email address, optional phone number, and question.
When you start a secure service request, the Sprocket Science service platform collects the machine details, symptoms, safety information, attachments, and acknowledgements you provide so the shop can assess and manage the request.
The website may also receive ordinary technical request information needed for security and reliable operation, such as an IP address, browser details, and request timestamps.
How we use it
We use general-enquiry information to respond to questions. We use secure service-request information to assess serviceability, discuss diagnostics or repair, prepare estimates, arrange service, and maintain the related service record.
We do not sell contact-form information or use it to make unrelated automated decisions.
Service providers
The public website and service platform are hosted through Vercel. Cloudflare Turnstile helps protect the general-enquiry form from automated abuse, general-enquiry emails are delivered through Resend, and service records are stored through Supabase. These providers process the limited information needed to host the products, protect the form, deliver your message, and maintain the service workflow.
Retention and security
We retain service enquiries and related correspondence only as reasonably needed to respond, provide service, maintain appropriate business records, and meet legal obligations.
No internet transmission is completely risk-free. Please do not send passwords, payment card information, medical information, or other unnecessary sensitive data through the service form.
Your choices
You may contact support@sprocketscience.ca to ask about personal information you submitted, request a correction, or ask that information be deleted where applicable.
A customer portal link is private to the related service record. Do not forward it. This notice will be updated before additional analytics or integrations materially change how information is handled.
