Set up properly before the first ride.

Professional assembly, adjustment, and safety checks for boxed bicycles and compatible direct-to-consumer e-bikes.

A direct-to-consumer e-bike being prepared inside the real Sprocket Science workshop

Independent diagnostics-first service

More than taking a bike out of the box.

A new bicycle or e-bike still needs careful assembly, alignment, adjustment, and inspection. Sprocket Science checks the controls, steering, wheels, brakes, drivetrain, accessible fasteners, and compatible electrical connections before the machine is considered ready for use.

Starting priceBicycles from $149 · E-bikes from $189Parts and additional approved work are extra.

Common reasons riders contact us

Start with what the machine is doing.

You do not need to name the failed part. Symptoms, timing, error codes, and photos are more useful starting points.

  • A new bike or e-bike arrived partially assembled in a box
  • Brakes rub, feel weak, or need alignment after shipping
  • Shifting is noisy, hesitant, or out of adjustment
  • Handlebars, controls, pedals, wheels, or accessories need installation
  • The bike needs a professional setup and safety check before its first ride
  • A direct-to-consumer seller does not provide local assembly support

Clear boundaries

Many machines welcome. No blanket promises.

  • Assembly pricing assumes a new, complete machine with the correct supplied parts, hardware, and instructions; missing parts, damage, rework, accessories, and unusually complex builds are quoted separately.
  • Manufacturer warranty registration, dealer-only programming, firmware access, and brand authorization are not implied.
  • Unsafe, damaged, incompatible, undocumented, or structurally compromised machines may be paused or declined after inspection.
